The Moore School is currently participating in the "Fisher Cats Reading Challenge." At the end of October Slider (fisher cat mascot) visited the school and discussed with the students what the Challenge is all about. The goal:
1. Read 5 books
2. Record the titles down on the roster they received.
3. Rosters should be handed in to homeroom teachers by Feb. 28th. Forms can also be mailed to: NH Fisher Cats, ATTN: READING CHALLENGE, 1 Line Drive, Manchester, NH 03101.
4. By submitting a completed roster, students will receive 2 tickets to one of the 5 Reading Challenge Nights at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Families can also purchase extra tickets if needed. The 5 dates are on the roster and you can check off the preferred date.
We encourage each student to participate and support this event. Besides receiving 2 Fisher Cat tickets, The Moore School can win up to $3000.00. We would like to use the money towards purchasing popular "independent reads." In the month of December, students will fill out a quick survey on favorite books. The results for each grade level will be posted for the school to see!
